Back in Vienna for the second time. We´re staying at my friend Hanna´s place right outside the city centre. Thus far, we have eaten sausages, gone for a drink, saw the castle, and walked through the heart of the shopping district. Also, Thao and I visited Hanna hard at work at this cool little, local bakery. The food there was great. Tonight we head to the film museum, and go for some wiener schnitzel. Tomorrow, I will be heading back to Budapest before I am on a plane home in 2008. Probably will update this upon my return home with all the pictures from my trip. Czech Please!

Prague, Praha, Praag, whichever one you decide to call it, the city still possesses its old-European city charm. My sister and I arrived here just yesterday morning, and were amazed by the sights we saw passing by on the train. Coming from Western Europe into the Central region, there is definitely a change in feel. Like Budapest, there is that dark, dreary characteristic to the city, yet at the same time this feeling makes Prague, Prague.

Holiday Greetings from Koln, Deustchland!

Thao and I are now here in Germany. To be specific Cologne, Germany. The past four days spent in Paris were marvelous, not only because we were in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but also because it was spent with great people. On my part, I met with both old and new friends here in Paris. Ngoc from Viet Nam, I met my first day for lunch. The days following, I spent time with Caroline, her husband Pankaj, Solene, Diana, and Roldan. With Caroline and Pankaj, we went to this pub called Culture Rapide–Rapid Culture!! Also, we walked around the Christmas Markets the following day. These markets resonated the holiday feeling with the various seasonal items, and food.

Paris Combo.

Here in Paris; it is quite an amazing city. It indeed possesses that rich, historical, cultural feeling that any Western European city is renown for. Thus far, my sister and I have simply walked around, took a peek at the Eiffel Tower at night, and had a beer with a local French guy named Yann.

As for me, I met for lunch with a friend from Vietnam who is in town for the holidays and headed over to the Charles de Gaulle Etoile to snap a few photos. What follows will be hanging with the Erasmus crowd who are also in the city. Likewise I must eat more delicious French food with the limited time I have here. Time to explore the city.
